Meanings Behind The Thin Lines

The Thin Blue Line originated from the United Kingdom but is now prevalent in both the United States and Canada. The Thin Line is used to remember those who have lost their lives on the line of duty and to show support the those who continue to put their life on the line.
The Blue line symbolizes the Law Enforcement. The top Black line represents civilians and the bottom represents criminals. The overall graphic shows police officers (blue line) are the ones who stand between violence and criminals and those would be victims of such.
